Idle Realm
I really like idle games, but unfortunately, I haven't seen many good ones lately. I thought to myself: "Hmm... why not make one?" The only problems were my absolute lack of programming experience and an even greater lack of graphic design skills. I started this project just for fun, to see what I could create. I'm sharing it because... why not? I still have MANY more things to add.
The game itself is very simple. As in most idle games, you grind gold and unlock new features along the way.
Feel free to ask questions and make suggestions.
I spent some time making it, so you can spend some time playing it :) Good luck, have fun!

I like the concept but I think you could need a few testers. I found a small bug right away. I also think that a pixel art graphics and a few little animations would do the game a big favor. There is a lot of possibility to optimize the whole thing. But I can really see the potential and the way to go. If I can help somehow just let me know.
I'm very pleased to hear that! As you can probably see, graphics are not my strongest suit, so for now, they’re just placeholders. I have no experience with digital art, and at some point, I’ll probably use AI to generate nice pixel art-style images. As for testers... You guys are my testers, and I’m really grateful for that. It’s really hard to balance this type of game, especially when working alone, so I’d really appreciate any feedback. If nothing goes wrong, version 0.02 will drop next week (I hope it will include The Map. A couple of buildings have already been added). Thanks again for your feedback!
I thought I would get wisdom by demolishing one of the buildings. Unfortunately, clicking the Roman numeral not only demolishes the building, but restarted the whole game. I have already built a manor at that point, and having everything cleared was a bit upsetting and frustrating to see. I agree that a decent tutorial or instruction is needed, at least text-based.
So, I took a crack at this for several hours, and the best feedback I can give is that this is in desperate need of some tooltips or tutorials or something. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what wisdom does, nor can I figure out what ranking up did, even though I took time to play with both to see if they changed the gameplay at all. Otherwise, the bones of this look fine!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, this game definitely needs more clarity. I’ll also work on balancing it after I finish expanding the game a bit. If you want to know what they do, just check the (admittedly) sad upgrades tab. The wisdom upgrade description explains it a little. Ranks are meant to improve production and unlock further progress. At a certain rank, you’ll see it unlocks a tab — that’s just a bit of foreshadowing for now.
